August 7th, 2009--10 PM Budapest time

Just got home from my first day in Budapest. Got in around 11 AM. Picked up by Aaron and Julianna--so good to see them! They drove me to Julianna's place, a beautiful old home with several sitting rooms, a garden, a gate, etc. Pics soon. 

Showered, fed with potatoes, squash, etc. Took a nap. Soon after waking up we went out for fried fish and chips next to the Danube. Had a lovely time and followed up the food with cotton candy. Mmmm. 

Decided against going into downtown because we were all tired...but it was a lovely introduction to my new home for the next 3 weeks!
